Lake Mary Hearing Center believes in providing comprehensive, quality hearing health care. A wide variety of services are offered by a full-time licensed audiologist. When medical needs are observed, you may be referred to the physician.

Once your problem has been diagnosed, specific treatment will be recommended. Many times medications or allergy treatment can control the problem. Occasionally, surgery may be necessary or your hearing may need assistance of amplification.

Hearing Aid Evaluations and Fittings

We provide comprehensive audiological evaluations for children and adults. Our audiologist is licensed by the State of Florida Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology to evaluate, fit and dispense hearing instruments. We offer the latest technology in programmable analog and digital hearing instruments, with a 30 day trial period. Our aids are customized to fit your auditory perception, hearing aid experience, personality, and lifestyle so that you get the best hearing possible. The hearing aids we dispense have a minimum one year warranty for repairs, loss, and damage and include free “in-house” hearing aid adjustments for the life of the hearing instrument.

Hearing Aid Cleaning and Repair

Anyone who purchases a hearing aid from Lake Mary Hearing Center will also receive free “in-house” cleanings and “in-house” repair of their hearing aid for the life of their hearing instrument. You may schedule an appointment with one our audiologists to have your hearing aid evaluated.

Wax and moisture are the number one cause of hearing aid failure. Our state-of-the-art cleaning system can help extract wax and moisture out of your hearing aid to get it back to peak performance.

If your hearing aid cannot be repaired at our office, we can send it to the original manufacturer for repair. For aids still under warranty, there is no charge for this service. Aids no longer covered under a warranty can still be repaired for a nominal fee.

Custom Earmolds

Our custom earmolds provide a better seal than “generic” ear plugs and are available for behind-the-ear hearing aids, telephone headsets, stethoscopes, custom swimplugs, musician earmolds, or for noise protection.

Assistive Listening Devices

Sometimes hearing aids are not necessary or do not provide enough benefit for certain situations on their own. When this is the case, an assistive listening device may be recommended. We offer the latest hearing assistance products including amplified phones, infrared TV amplifiers, vibrating alarm clocks, visual alerting devices, and personal FM listening systems.

  • Do you have constant or prolonged periods of ringing or other noises in your ears?
  • Do people complain that you turn the television or radio up too loud?

  • Do you often feel dizzy or off-balance?
  • Do you feel like people are mumbling when they talk to you?
  • Do you have difficulty hearing on the telephone?

As the typical viral season winds down and allergy season ramps up, it may be difficult to tell if your symptoms are due to your allergies or possibly COVID-19. We are here to help you during these difficult days ahead.

We understand the importance of our role as your healthcare provider, particularly for patients with asthma and other allergic conditions who may be at higher risk of experiencing severe symptoms with COVID-19. We are committed to helping you navigate through this difficult period. It is imperative that you keep your asthma and other allergic conditions under control during these next few months. This means taking your medications as prescribed to you by Dr Damask, including your allergy shots or allergy drops and if you are on a biologic medication that you keep up your regime with your in-office injections.

Dr Damask and her staff at Lake Mary ENT & Allergy want you to know that we are taking great care to ensure proper sterilization of the instruments used for examination and we are also maintaining a sanitary office environment for all our patients by disinfecting the exam rooms after each patient.

We have rearranged our waiting room to promote social distancing and we have set up a special area just for patients with respiratory symptoms. We also have appropriate supplies for hand washing as well as hand sanitizer for your use in the office. If you are interested in alternatives to in person visits, contact the office about telehealth options. We are now offering virtual visits through a webcam or your phone.

Please follow the CDC recommendations regarding measures such as frequent handwashing and not touching your face.
